Bride and Groom
Mark and Elaine Joubert
We got married locally in the Methodist Church in Brackenhurst on 15 November 2014 and our reception was held at the Reading Country Club. We didn’t want anything traditional so our chosen colours were black and yellow.
It was pouring with rain as we started our photos but that did not stop us from having a great time and enjoying our day. Everyone was keen on running in the rain and this is why we have memorable photos that we would not have had any different.
We both enjoy playing golf and my husband and his groomsmen are all members at the club this is why we chose to have it at the golf course. My mom handmade my dress and it fitted like a glove. Different than any other wedding dress and exactly how I wanted to be….different. Our photographer were at her wits when we said come rain or hail we will have our photos taken either way. Rentia Smith Photography was amazing at what she captured. She had so many great ideas and this shows in all our photos. The venue was setup by myself and family members and also turned out to be even more beautiful than what I imagined.
Our day was perfect with our 2 daughters, family and friends. It was #OURTAILORMADEDAY
