Cheers Beer Festival returns to Emperors Palace
Craft beer fans can look forward to sampling some of South Africa’s refreshingly unique brews at the Cheers Beer Festival, taking place on Saturday, June 10, at the Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace.
The event kicks off at 12 noon, and will feature a wide variety of artisanal drink and gourmet food stalls, showcasing South Africa’s most talented brewers, distillers and producers of quality craft liquor.
Cheers Beer Festival provides visitors with an interactive and experiential platform to enjoy one of South Africa’s favourite pastimes – enjoying a cold one.
Craft beer fans will have the opportunity to sample an exquisite range of beers produced on a small scale by local micro-breweries. The event will also feature gourmet street food options, as well as plenty of live entertainment throughout the day.
Rugby fans can also enjoy the South Africa versus France match, live on the big screen at 5pm. So, stick around to cheer on the Bokke with a cold craft beer in hand.
Tickets are limited and cost R100 per person (including a complimentary beer glass – no food or beverages will be allowed into the festival).
Winners Circle members qualify for great discounts. Tickets can be purchased through the Emperors Palace Box Office on 011 928 1297/1213, or by visiting www.emperorspalace.com or www.itickets.co.za .
The event times are from 12 noon to 10pm.
